The Finance Manager is a key member of The Paper Birds’ team, working closely with
the Executive Producer to ensure sound financial management of the company, smooth
running of all financial processes and procedures, and strategic financial planning to enable
the company to achieve its’ goals.
This part-time freelance role would suit a dynamic individual who has experience of working
with small companies and/or charities. An interest in the arts is desirable, but we’re also
interested to hear from those bringing relevant financial knowledge and experience from other
sectors. The ideal candidate is someone who is a strong team player, has an ability to look at
the macro and micro pictures simultaneously, and who is keen to make a difference.
You would be joining The Paper Birds at a hugely exciting time as we enter our second year
of being an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation in a strong financial position. Over the
next three years we have ambitions to tour our new show ‘Feel Me’ internationally, to create
our first ever mid-scale show and to grow our thriving participation activity.
